Proceedings of the FAN 2025 International Congress Now Available
The proceedings of the FAN International Congress are now available. This 2025 edition, held in Antibes Juan-les-Pins from 9 to 11 April, remains one of the few events bringing together experts in fan noise, aerodynamics and integrated systems. Co-organised by CETIAT and CETIM, FAN has been uniting key technical stakeholders shaping the evolution of the sector since 1992.
Confirmed International Reach
The 2025 edition stands out for its strong scientific participation, including:- 90 abstracts received, with 66 selected presentations
- 48 full papers
- 18 oral presentations without a paper
- 210 authors and co-authors representing 19 nationalities
A Rapidly Transforming Sector
The contributions highlight major shifts within the field: increasing energy-efficiency requirements, noise reduction, the rise of safety-critical applications, the growth of digital services, and the widespread adoption of variable-speed operation. In this demanding context, numerical simulation has become essential for mastering aerodynamics, acoustics and vibration phenomena.
The proceedings cover three main themes:- Artificial intelligence and fans: advanced optimisation of design and performance
- Future energy-efficiency regulations: analysis of expected changes and their implications
- Acoustic and aerodynamic optimisation: experimental results, modelling approaches and proven methodologies
The published proceedings are now a key reference for all professionals who design, manufacture or integrate fans and wish to anticipate emerging technical challenges.
