Acoustic signatures of heat pumps – Round robin tests of an air-to-water heat pump and a heat pump water heater

Annex 51 (Acoustic signatures of heat pumps) of the IEA Technology Collaboration Programme on Heat Pumping Technologies pursued the objectives to perform a Round Robin Test between the laboratories to check that the noise measurements give close results and get a feedback on the standards implementation. This report describes the round robin tests performed by the participants and analyses the results on an air-to-water heat pump and a heat pump water heater.
