Calibration method

The calibration of manometers or pressure sensors is performed by direct comparison with a reference. The generated pressure is measured in parallel on the reference and on the pressure sensor to be calibrated. The laboratory has four references available, which are used according to the type of pressure (differential, relative or absolute) and the measuring range.


Calibration conditions

The minimum COFRAC calibration programme is linked to the class of uncertainty of the calibrated instrument (class 1, 2 or 3).
