Calibration method

Weighting method in accordance with EN 24185 standard: the mass of water going through the tested device is weighted. The volume and the flow rate are determined from the collected mass, the duration of the calibration point and the water temperature.


Conditions of calibration

The minimum COFRAC calibration programme includes 5 flow rate measurement values, repeated twice, i.e. 15 measuring points. It is performed for a given temperature value and a given pressure value.

The calibration installation in water is composed of
three measurement lines set up in parallel, each one
equipped with a weighting tank.
