Calibration methods
Two methods are used according to the type of instruments to be calibrated. |
| |
Calibration
with a recirculation humid air generator:
The dew point temperature (Td) is measured with a reference thermometer put at the level
of the air humidity saturator. The temperature measurement (T) is performed with a reference
thermometer put near the sensor to be calibrated. The reference relative humidity (RH)
is calculated from those two measurements. |
|
Calibration in climatic chamber by comparison with a reference hygrometer:
The dew point temperature (Td) is measured with a reference hygrometer. The temperature measurement (T) is performed
with a reference thermometer put near the sensor to be calibrated.
The reference relative humidity (RH) is calculated
from those two measurements. |
